Making cushions with letters

I love making cushions, always have! The fun part is adapting them to the recipients, to the situation …

These two are made out of a velours fabric. The two letters were cut out of old sheets – and yes, I deliberately chose two different styles (or fonts), just to make things more complicated! I used a heat-bond product to hold the letters in place while I stitched around them.

There’s an invisible zipper at the bottom of the cushions.

You’ve guessed it. We were invited to friends’ for dinner last night and yes, their surname starts with a B.
